What is this game?
Super Robot Wars BX (SRW BX) is a turn-based strategy RPG for the Nintendo 3DS that came out only in Japan in 2015. It covers normal boy Youta Hiiragi, the mysterious Yuki, and the sentient machine Falsaber as they fight for survival.
What series are in this game?
There are quite a few series that are in this game and some of them even feature their own plots that intertwine together in interesting ways. Other series’ plots have already happened and they’re just sticking around to help or to help.

This will be my third screenshot LP, and I’ve already devised several improvements from my SRW D and R LPs. Posts will be accompanied by the raw, unedited video footage of my gameplay, for better or for worse, and a link to a version of the same chapter in the test poster, which is for archival purposes. Do not expect perfect gameplay or playing animations for every attack. There will be other improvements such as naming everyone on their first appearance as well as their voice actors, regardless if they’re voiced in this game.
Barring any direct questions in the LP thread, I’m not going to go too in-depth into the game mechanics. The majority of them are the same as in other SRW titles, especially UX, but I will point out the important and relevant aspects.
This game’s true ending is only possible if you get every single secret in a single playthrough. Some routes make this easier than others. I will be covering all the “non-canon” routes.
Of note, I will be playing this game on a New Game+. The sole reason is to make one particular kill-heavy secret easier. During my casual run of this game a few years ago, I was just short of getting that secret and I don’t want that to happen here. Special thanks to Faye for providing the save file since for some reason saves on carts don’t work with digital copies.
I will also be covering the DLC chapters since they have some story with them. I’ll do these when they become available, even though on NG+ they’re available at all times. I will not be covering the Puzzle Robo DLC since they have no story and that’s not what this LP is about.
