If anyone wants to do some content on Crystal, give me a shout! Can't promise I'll be much help with crafting/gathering, but if you need some company for roulettes or somesuch, let me know.
PS: Alphinaud is best Scion

Like Eevee, I have everything maxed out. But I'm also one of the damned souls in quarantine on Crystal.
I'm on Aether too! Cactuar specifically.
Disregard the bad clothes, I'm helping out my sister get into tanking so I glammed full baby gear including the title.

I'm also on Crystal, currently Goblin but considering moving. All 80 crafting and gathering open to help, and I've wanted to do an unsynced run through the Coil of Bahamut since I still haven't beaten the boss of Turn 5.

I'm kicking about on Excalibur, slowly dragging my feet on my way to getting my crafters to 80 before Shadowbringers ends. I've recently returned from a bit of a break, but I'm mostly just doing roulettes and brooding outside of my Free Company house, as one does. I'm certain 5.3 will change that when it hits.

I'm at Primevil on Famfrit and also a total lazybones, dropped the game for a while after hitting the endgame and am getting back into it now with the pandemic

I finally had enough money left over to resubscribe about a week ago, Coeurl on Crystal. I'm holding off on Shadowbringers patch story, so now I'm just spending my time leveling all the combat classes (currently got everything except Blue Mage up to level 30) and having a ton of ideas for glamours.

I'm on Jenova. Been really getting into Extreme/Savage content for the last couple weeks, so if anyone needs a tank for that, I exist.

So, I've got a bit of an odd question that's popped in my head about FFXIV sometime in the last few days and absolutely won't go away until I ask it, because I'm weird about testing games like this:
Is there any possible way you can think of to reach Limsa Lominsa without using an airship or the marriage rings?
It's been forever since I've played it, like early 2017 at the very latest, and I didn't get that far into it all things considered, so I'm wondering if there's some minor way to do so at a later point that I never reached or has since been added. It's a strange question, for perhaps an even stranger idea I came up with.
I would've asked in the LP Beach Discord, but figured I might get more of a response here.

Hrm... that sounds great at first, but unfortunately that seems to need MSQ progression as well, I was just coming back to edit this condition in, but I guess you beat me to the punch on it. Regardless, thanks for being so quick to give an answer on this!
The odd idea I came up with would completely prevent any MSQ progression for at least my character. That being said, I'll go ahead and revise it now I guess:
Is there any other possible way to reach Limsa Lominsa that would not require at least one character to progress the main story?
Any possible way to hitch a ride or teleport to someone else can work in this case, as long as my hypothetical character does not have to progress the main quest.
I'm still kinda expecting the answer here to be "nope", but it's worth a shot.
Edit:
The idea was that of playing the game as a pacifist, which kind of inherently goes against MSQ progression all around, but if it's not possible then I suppose at worst I'd losing out on weaponsmithing my own tools. Last time I played the game I'd started a run using only stuff I'd crafted myself which is I suppose a more interesting challenge in the long run though, given that a pacifist run would just be gathering all day every day for eternity and just chatting with people. For some reason, I still don't think I'd mind it.
Honestly, I think the only reason I thought this up was because Pacifist Ironman was probably the most fun I'd had with WoW when I still played it. Something about turning the game around entirely like that was fun for all the seven hours my character was around.
That, and I've kind of missed the feeling of having an MMO to play, even if I can't necessarily say I've got the time to dedicate to it anymore.
