It's a Sunday evening and you are brushing your teeth in your bathroom and out of nowhere you see in the bathroom mirror that your reflection no longer appears, instead, you see a man, he appears to be an elderly man, with pale skin, a gray beard, and long gray hair. He is wearing a dusty old looking blue robe and pointy blue hat. Behind him appears to be a library with books with titles you can't make out, and behind the library exists stone walls.

"Greetings!" You here from the man in the mirror "I am Werlin, a Court Wizard of King Bonum of Pacifia, of the land of Kail, a world of magic and majesty, I am to summon you to Kail because you are the chosen one. For you see that Kail is in great peril, an evil necromancer named Malmale, who is also unfortunately my brother, is planning to raise an army of undead, to overthrow the great King Bonum. And only you can stop it!"

The voice continues:
"An epic adventure shall await you, assuming you do not perish. Before your journey starts what form you like to take while entering Kail:"
"A human, a wood elf, a high elf, a dwarf, a halfling, a fey gnome, a tinker gnome, a goblin, an orc, a half-elf, a half-orc, or perhaps something else entirely?"

You try to put your hand through the mirror towards Werlin's hat, unfortunately, your hand stops were the mirror is.

"I didn't make this mirror a portal, just an illusionary projection" Merlins says somewhat annoyed.

You feel your body being altered by magic, do you resist?

"Toothbrush" is added to your inventory

Werlin speaks, "I can see that that transformation was successful".

"Before I teleport you off, I need to grant you some abilites and talents along with some equipment. What kind of abilities and equipment would you like to have? Since you choose to be a Lich, I assume that you want a magical bent on your abilities: Perhaps a Priest of Tenebris, generalist Wizard, or a specialist Wizard? Of course, if those aren't to your liking I have other options, Warrior, Knight, Barbarian, Swashbuckler, Monk, Archer, Ranger, Paladin, Rogue, Bard, a Priest of Lux or even a Druid. You can ask for something else if you want and I'll see what I can do."

You did not resist, and out of nowhere, appear on a dirt road, in front of you, to the left of the dirt road you see a sign that says Incipiean Village, next to that sign is an open gate, where the road continues, you see houses on each side of the round. You can make out 3 house on each side, the houses looks old and beaten up. At the very first house on the left you see a woman, who appears to be in her early 20s, washing some clothes, at the second house on the right you see a young man, reading a book.

"Well I'm not sure what exactly you mean by 'sidequest' but their's plenty for a traveler to help with around town"

"Obvious the Kobolds will be a nuance if left unchecked, that's probably top priority. But they are a few other things to handle: You see, that the half-elven fellow reading a book over there" You look at the man reading the book and notice his ears are somewhat pointy. "That's Jeffrey, he has a fiancée in Secundus, the next village over, but recently there's been a horde of monstrous bees, I'd say about to 2 to 3 feet size each in size, on the path between our villages, and I don't know how they are gonna get married if someone can't get rid of the bees. Also my older neighbor Margaret when visiting the county capital Almuc lost her wedding ring, I know it's a long shot but if you're ever in Almuc, look around for it, obviously ask her what it looks like before you do. I sure as hell don't remember what it looks like."

You talked over Jeffrey and ask them that and say that, he looks at you freaked out and says "Are you trying to flirt with me?! I'm so sorry but I have a fiancee and have no desire not to be faithful", besides I'm a half-elf so my ears aren't as long as a full Elf.
>apologize profusely because you're not sure what came over you
He seems somewhat relieved, but still distrusting "Oh okay, let's just drop that subject"
>okay that aside join my party Jeffrey
He looks confused "I'm sorry I'm not an adventurer, I have no combat training or magic training of any type, their's an Inn in the village that might have people thirsty for adventure that might be able to help you out!"

You go to the counter, and ask for the strongest drink, the bartender is an older human woman, who responds "I thought undead didn't drink, but I guess if your just trying to drunk that might work, I never understood exactly how undead worked. Regardless our hardest drink will be Vodka, that will be 1 Silver piece, or 10 copper pieces, I don't care which."

You hand the women 10 of the 12 copper piece you got from selling your tooth brush, she hands you a glass of vodka.

You take a shot of vodka almost immediately, while it's not taking as much effect as it should, you feel a little bit if you really try to look for it, but you are unsure if it's a placebo or not.

2 Pounds of Oregano
1 Pound of Cheese
1 Pound of Cinnamon
2 Pounds of Coffee Beans
2 Pounds of Potatoes

You make an entire pot of mint and honey coffee, the people at the inn are giving you weird looks as you do this. You drink it and you can feel and the enjoyable taste of the mint and honey coffee, however it does really seem to fill you (not that you were hungry in the first place), nor do you feel caffeinated.

You lost .4 pounds of the coffee, Honey and Mint

You lossen hold of the wagon.

You search the bar for anyone who might be an adventure or otherwise trained in combat

You see a human woman, you wager in her early 20s, in a green robe, long flowy red hair, and a wand in her hand, and a small dagger sheathed on her dress, she is reading a book, you make out the title, "Pratical Wind Spells for the Adventuring Aeromancer", you wager based on the title of the book she is some form of Aeromancer, which is you had to guess in this world means "Wind Mage"

You see another human woman, dark brown skin and long braided black hair, in a thick white robe, with a mace on her back, bent down on her knees, eyes clothes and praying, you hear part of her prayers something along the lines "Father Lux, may your light illuminate the path for me on this quest.", you wager she is some form of Priestess.

You also see a green-skin woman with small tusks, you wager she is some sort orc or half-orc, you aren't familiar enough with either to know which, wearing a black pointy hat, and a long thin plain black dress, and she is hold a rod, well rod might be a strong word, it appears to be a smooth stick, with glass orb roped on the end, she appears to collecting spider webs in the corners and putting them in a small dulap bag for whatever reason, wager she is some form Witch, Shaman, Sorceress, necromancer or wizard of some kind.

As for potentional romantic options, you find two that seem like they might be interested and aren't distracted by something else, hopefully your undead status will not be unappealing to them.

You see a human man, with brown hair, glasses, you find his features fairly attractive, his close look bizarrely untatter, though they are commoner's clothe no mistaking ir, he seems to be looking around, seems to occasionally standing up from his table and about to walk up to someone, a different group or person any table, but always seems to turn back, if you had to guess, he's anxious to talk to anyone. You also see a human woman, with blonde hair and glsses, she has long blonde hair, she as appears attractive though is wearing a somewhat ratty red dress, she has her right hand palm on her chin and right elbow on the table and eyes half open though she not appear to be tired, if you had guess she's bored.

You somehow manage to, despite not having tools, just barely manage to craft a decent looking outfit out of the silk you have, it used up all the silk though. People were staring at you questioning why you crafting an outfit in the middle of an Inn
>roll charisma on each potential party member/love interest to convince them to join your party
After (presumably) putting the outfit in a private space. You try to ask all the tavern people you noticed were either adventurers or lonely to help you out.

The first person you ask, the apparent Aeromancer, says she would consider it but she's a bit nervous to trust a complete stranger.

The second person you ask, the apparent Priestess, says she's slightly busy with her own quest and she's not quite fully trusting of the Undead.

The third person you ask, the Half-Orc spellcaster of some kind, is fine with joining you, as she has not much going on right now, and has no problem with the Undead, she introduced her as Thelka, she says she is a Hex Specialist Wizard.

Thelka has joined your party
You can now see Thelka's stats and inventory

You try asking the anxious man from earlier, he seems a little paniced from an Undead talking to him, but says he's not the adventuring type and has no skill or interest in adventuring.

You try asking the bored woman in the red dress, she responds with flat no, not even considering it.

Thelka talks to Venta, and from what you overhere Venta seems more receptive to this

Thalka and Venta come over and "She's willing" Thelka says

Venta joins your party

While you don't notice any exclamation point above anyone heads, you see a "Request Board" in the tavern and it's filled with several things you find interesting

-Missing! Wedding Ring Lost in Almuc, Margaret will give 5 Gold plus extra reward if found.
-Bounty on Kobolds in Nearby Camp! 20 Gold will be offered to whoever completely eradicates the Kobold Camp
-Wanted! Giant 1 yard lengths bees, 15 Gold will be offered to whoever eradicates the giant Bees
-Bodyguard wanted! Local blacksmith with two young daughters need protection from monsters while moving towards Almuc, 25 Gold reward.
-Searching for Lux's Divine Staff of Healing, rumored to be found in nearby abandon temple, Monsters are rumored to be present their, 50 Gold reward once delivered to Priestess Clair.

Suprisingly Giant Bees are something you have some knowledge of, though you don't recall ever learning about them, if you had to guess Werlin gave you some knowledge of this world buried in your subconscious. From what you know, Giant Bees do pollinate honey from both trees and the occassional giant flower, however giant bees are incredibly hostile to all humanoids (including undead humanoids), while giant beekeeping is theoritically possible, the quality of their honey is the same as smaller bees, and using small bees is both more profitable and far less dangerous.

Their sting is powerful, it sting also a really large (around 6 inch) space of pain and swelling on the skin for a while. It is not poisonous however, unless you are allergic and Undead being immune to disease and poison cannot be allergic. Unlike smaller bees they do not die nor do they lose their stinger when they sting

"Listen I've been trying to get some bodyguards for a week, I can wait an additional day, obviously if someone else offers to do it before then, then I'll take them up, but I think your good."

The three of you head towards the Kobold camp, while you were unaware where it was, thankfully Thelka and Venta knew where it was, 3 miles east outside of town. You arrive at the camp no incident, and the three of you stand in front of the camp side by side. The camp look rather make shift, the tents are various animal skin with wooden poles, there is a thin layer of sticks. You see two kobolds in front of the camp, hold wooden sticks with sharpen points at the end. The two kobolds look nervous and the one of the right hesistantly starts to attack:

The kobold on the right attacks with her spear on Venta, the kobolds makes a solid strike with her spear, and hits despite Venta's solid attempt to dodge. However the blow does not appear to be overly damaging

The Kobold does 1 damage to Venta

Venta cast Wind Burst (spending 3 Mana) on the Kobold that just attacked her. Venta while it does not look she was aiming particulary well, the kobold was distracted so she hits.

Venta does 8 damage to the Kobold, that Kobold is now defeated. However you notice that two more kobolds with Spears have shown up.

What do you?
